Un large réseau de vente de faux diplômes démantelé

Taiwan, la police a démantelé un réseau de fabrication de faux diplômes et licences professionnelles. 6 suspects ont été arrêtés.

A prosecutor led police to raid the warehouse of a telecom equipment shop after receiving a tip about the illegal operation.
The police uncovered hundreds of the bogus academic documents including certificates, graduation diplomas, and other credentials.
All the documents appeared genuine because of the high paper quality and sophisticated fine print, and also included a steel chop stamp and designated serial number for each document.
They called this the largest counterfeiting operation related to academic documents uncovered so far.
Chang Jui-cheng, leader of the operation said he started making and supplying the documents in as early as 2000.
He so far has sold more than 500 copies of the products fetching from NT$20,000 to NT$50,000 for a high school diploma, up to NT$100,000 for a graduation diploma of a private university, at least NT$200,000 for a national university diploma, and a price tag of NT$400,000 for a vocational certificate.
Chang had even sold certificates to health care workers at a staggering sum of NT$1.4 million.
In addition to detaining Chang and his accomplices, the police are seeking to find purchasers of the fake documents.
Police said this was the second case they had cracked in January concerning forged academic documents.
A high-school dropout in Taipei County was caught by the Criminal.

Investigation Bureau (CIB) for supplying fake documents on the Internet earlier this month.
